Tracks and track headers misaligned when scrolling in Play mode

While working on a large orchestral score, I noticed a visual bug with the layout in Play mode. If I’m looking at the top staves of my orchestra, it all looks normal:

But if I scroll all the way to the bottom, look at how the track names are now out of vertical alignment with the track content:

I was able to repro this 100%.

I’ve certainly not been able to reproduce this. Do you find this happens in every project, or only in one? If it happens only in one project, can you attach it here? You may need to cut its length down (e.g. delete all but a few bars) and apply the Silence playback template in order to get it under the 4MB size limit.

Thanks @dspreadbury. It does seem to 100% repro in this test file I created, which is the original file, duplicated, then I deleted all the music out of it, applied the Silence playback template (I normally use NotePerformer), closed it, reopened it, and it’s still happening here:. BTW this is in v5.1.160.2187.

zDorico Test for Play tab alignment.dorico.zip (1.9 MB)

I can’t reproduce in this file. Can you upload a project with a bit of music?

Maybe update to the current version of Dorico first?

I am on the latest.

Note: you have to scroll ALL the way to the bottom of the Play window. The misalignment only occurs after the last track (Double Bass) comes into view.

I think the caveat is that you need to be in Full Screen mode.

But, I can’t reproduce on any of my projects or even a new one - only yours.

I’m not in full screen mode, FYI. I was briefly, a couple of days ago, but these screenshots were all taken in NOT full screen mode.

Interesting. Not so, for me.
