Maybe im missing something but I cant get any colour in my tracks when I create them.
I can go and change them manually, but ive seen others whose new tracks are colourised.
Ive watched about as many tutorials as I can and done everything ive seen mentioned but still they are always grey on creation.
Thanks for the replies but they donāt help.
Ive downloaded Chris Selimās colour template, saved it as the project default, and now want to use it in other projects.
I know how to set each type of track to a different colour, but I cant apply a colour scheme to the project if that makers sense.
Yep, ive done that. The colours i want are in the colour pallet, ive gone in to Project colour setup and selected the one you have highlighted, clicked apply and nothing happens.
Thanks, your first screen shot was the solution. This was still on default.
In all the YT vides and tutorials ive watched/read, no one mentioned changing this until now.
Whats with the bullying?
Why would i want to use random colour?
I said āthanks for the repliesā There were 2, one i which was Reco29ās . how is that not thanking someone?
I also replied i know how to set up the preferred track colour already, so that how was that not a reply to his suggestion?
Get over yourself. Maybe YOU need to read and understand words.
Hi Dave. Iāve got Selimās colour template, too. Iām not sure if this answers your question, but if you save his template as a template, and open a new project in the hub from āmore,ā that loads your new project using his colour scheme. Similarly, if you eventually develop your own colour scheme during a project, save it as a template. (If you know this already, sorry.)
Iāve tried to apply a saved template to previous saved projects, but canāt get that to work. Hope I havenāt added to the confusion.
Thanks.
I did get it sorted by turning on Use pervious Track colour+. I was really only trying to get this working on new projects going forward. I hadnāt thought about adding the new colours to older projects as i already have colour schemes in those.
Good info though and Iāll make a note of it in case i do.
