Hello,
I’m considering trying out and buying Spectralayers specifically for the transcription function. However, I cannot see a list of supported languages, and the one I need is not a major one (Galician). Can you tell me which languages are supported by Spectralayers?
Thanks

japanese
chinese simplified

Oh, that’s a bummer! Galician is not supported. Thank you anyway!

I didn’t say that…I shared just what I see in the drop down for unmix transcription
you’d have to ask @Robin_Lobel to get a confirmation
Galician is well supported by the free OpenAI Whisper model, which is what Robin does use for SpectraLayers. Transcription quality depends on used model size and afaik Robin is using a medium sized model.
But you do not need SpectraLayers for making transcriptions.
You can use the free tool Subtitle Edit from www.nik.se
There you can setup to use any Whisper model you like.
I use that for transcriptions all the time.

Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, it doesn’t support macOS. I’m going to try it via Whisky or CrossOver, though. Thanks!
