Hi! I’m trying to get the trombone 1 & 2 to condense and then have the third part by itself but I’ve tried custom condensing and nothing seems to work. For some reason Dorico wants to condense the trombone 1 & 3 together instead or not at all.

The reason Dorico won’t condense Trombone 1 and Trombone 2 together is that there are five pitch-crosses in the final bar, and your settings in Notation Options specify that Dorico should limit the number of allowed pitch-crossings to 1.
Thank you so much, Daniel. So I learned that if there’s a problem it’s likely that I wrote something wrong. I didn’t mean for the crossing. I’m very thankful and am loving Dorico!
I’d recommend only inputting a condensing change for that last bar for that part if you don’t want unnecessary pitch crossings elsewhere!
