Trying Out Wavelab Pro 12 Here, Presonus FAT Channel issue

Im checking out Wavelab Pro here. When I put the Persons Fat Channel on the effects insert it shows up, however, The power buttons for compressor, EQ etc do not work which then won’t allow me to select different compressors or EQ’s that I have from Presonus.

The Fat Channel is working just fine in:
Logic= AU
Cubase= VST
Reaper= VST
Studio One Pro= VST
Luna

This is ONLY happening in Wavelab Pro 12 here.

Any help would be great

Thank you

Shane

I have the same behaviour.
Did you report this back to Presonus?

Wavelab is different from the other programs.

I checked the different places for plugins in Wavelab.
The relevant behaviour is happening in the Master Section only.

Yes on the Master Insert as well here. Who do we report this to???

Id like to know how WaveLab is diff than other apps that it cant run a VST plugin like all the DAWs Ive listed do as well as Ableton Live?

Call me confused

I use that Presonus Fat Channel a lot BTW and have 3 comps and 2 EQ’s. in there that Ive bought

Im liking WaveLab so far, checking out Spectralayers too

*** Ive tried a container plugin hosting app using WAVES Rack and I can load up plugins in it and put that RACK in the same spot, no issues

can you get someone to take a look at this? Again this is ONLY happening in Wavelab Pro 12 and the MASTER INSERT only. All other DAWS are fine so this has to be a Wavelab issue

Isn’t this a StudioOne integrated plugin?

Noted as “Only Available in Studio One+” there

https://shop.presonus.com/Studio-One-Plug-ins/Style--Compressor

It is NOT an integrated plugin in Studio ONe, it was designed to allow you to use those purchased Presonus plugins in any other DAW using the FatChannel plugin. Fat channel shows up in any DAW as a normal plugin. It is just a container app if you will like Waves has. It has EQ/Compressor/Limiter etc in the one window and you can use those specific plugins inside of it. StudioOnePlus + is just the subscription stuff. Ive had the FatChannel stuff for years and it works everywhere as I mentioned EXCEPT WaveLab which is odd WaveLab lists it in the plugins manager, HOWEVER, all other plugins listed in WaveLab show 32 or 64 bit respectively. There is NO 32 or 64 bit listed beside its name. Its as if WaveLab cant see that.

Just trying to understand this here.

Thank you sir

The fat channel is available in the Presonus consoles, that’s why it is called the fat channel.

I know what the Fat channel is and where it is located in a Presonus mixer. That FatChannel was ported so we could use those Fat Channel plugins inside ANY DAW
