Tuning the response of Dorico to my controller keyboard

I am busy transcribing a piece from an audio recording (m4a format) of an uncomfortably sharp Baltic brass band. I know how to adjust the tuning in Dorico under Playback Options, but this, obviously, only works in playback. What I need is to tune my controller keyboard, a Komplete Kontrol S88, sharp, so that Dorico and the audio are in tune while I play along in time. I have tried the obvious of using the Komplete Kontrol software to tune the keyboard to no avail. Now I realise this is a Dorico forum, so as a last resort I am hoping there is way to tune sharp the response of Dorico to the MIDI commands from my keyboard. Unfortunately, my virtual instrument of choice is NotePerformer, which appears (unlike most other virtual instruments) to have no global tuning mechanism. I am therefore, rather stumped. In desperation I tried to detune the source recording but no audio player I could find could do it without stuttering or stammering. Most don’t provide the 20 cent resolution that I need.

Any way that I can adjust how Dorico responds to my keyboard?

Many thanks.

Is there any way to alter the pitch of a copy of your audio source file slightly if Dorico cannot do so? Audacity might be able to do so or some other DAW.

Bob I don’t have a perfect answer for you, but since you are in a place of last resort I thought I might offer this:

I would switch to Halion Sonic Orchestra temporarily in Dorico - actually Id probably leave my note performer project alone and create a new one with Halion Sonic because Halion does have a fine tuning knob under the “edit” tab in the Halion VST. Listen and Twist to match. And when I was done copy to the note performer project.

I think you might need to do that for each instrument? Maybe there is a global setting for the entire Halion Sonic instance? Not sure about that part.

Thank you both for your responses. I’ll look into both options.
