Feature Request: Turkish Language Support for Cubase
I would like to request official Turkish language support for Cubase.
This request concerns not only the Cubase user interface, but also Steinberg’s official Cubase documentation, help resources, tutorials, and learning materials.
Why is Turkish localization important?
Cubase is an extremely comprehensive professional application. Its workflow involves a large amount of specialized terminology and many interconnected areas, including Audio Connections, Control Room, routing, recording, monitoring, MIDI, automation, plug-ins, editors, mixing, mastering, and project configuration.
For users who are not sufficiently fluent in one of the currently supported languages, learning these systems can become considerably more difficult than learning Cubase itself needs to be.
As a Turkish-speaking Cubase Pro 15 customer, I experience this problem personally.
While learning Cubase, I frequently have to use AI services such as ChatGPT simply to understand menus, terminology, configuration screens, routing options, recording procedures, and other functions.
In some cases, I have to provide screenshots of Cubase to an AI system and ask it to explain, step by step, which menu, button, setting, or parameter I need to use.
In other words, part of the time that should be spent making music and learning Cubase is instead spent translating and interpreting the software.
Localization is more than a cosmetic feature
For complex professional software, localization directly affects:
- accessibility
- learning time
- understanding of technical terminology
- correct configuration
- prevention of user errors
- productivity
- the customer’s ability to benefit fully from the product
Turkish is spoken by tens of millions of people, and Türkiye has an active community of musicians, producers, recording engineers, content creators, educators, students, and home-studio users.
I therefore believe that Turkish deserves serious consideration as an additional officially supported language for Cubase.
What I am requesting
Ideally, Turkish localization should cover:
- the Cubase user interface
- menus and commands
- preferences and configuration screens
- built-in help
- official Cubase documentation and manuals
- official tutorials and learning materials
- Steinberg plug-ins and related applications, where technically feasible
Even if complete UI localization cannot be implemented immediately, comprehensive and up-to-date official Turkish documentation would already represent an important first step.
I have also submitted this request directly to Steinberg Support as formal customer feedback and a localization request.

I respectfully ask the Cubase Product Management and Localization teams to evaluate this request and, if possible, provide information about whether Turkish localization has previously been considered or may be considered for a future version of Cubase.

Cubase’e resmi Türkçe dil desteğinin eklenmesini talep ediyorum.
Bu talep yalnızca Cubase kullanıcı arayüzünün Türkçeleştirilmesini değil; resmi kullanım kılavuzlarının, yardım sisteminin, eğitim materyallerinin ve mümkün olduğu ölçüde Steinberg eklentilerinin de Türkçe desteğe kavuşmasını kapsamaktadır.
Cubase son derece kapsamlı ve teknik bir profesyonel yazılımdır. Türkçe dil desteğinin bulunmaması, Türkçe konuşan kullanıcıların yazılımı öğrenmek ve doğru şekilde kullanmak için normalden çok daha fazla zaman harcamasına neden olmaktadır.
Ben de Cubase Pro 15’i öğrenirken menüleri, ayarları, Audio Connections, Control Room, routing, kayıt, monitoring ve diğer işlevleri doğru anlayabilmek için ChatGPT gibi yapay zekâ sistemlerinden yararlanmak; hatta bazı durumlarda Cubase ekran görüntülerini vererek hangi menünün, düğmenin veya ayarın nasıl kullanılacağını adım adım açıklatmak zorunda kalıyorum.
Bu nedenle müzik üretmeye ve Cubase’i öğrenmeye ayrılması gereken zamanın önemli bir bölümü, yazılımın dilini çözmeye ve tercüme etmeye harcanmaktadır.
Yerelleştirme yalnızca kozmetik bir özellik değildir. Cubase gibi karmaşık profesyonel bir yazılımda dil desteği; erişilebilirliği, öğrenme süresini, teknik terimlerin doğru anlaşılmasını, doğru yapılandırmayı, kullanıcı hatalarının önlenmesini ve verimli çalışmayı doğrudan etkiler.
Ücretini ödeyerek satın aldığımız profesyonel bir yazılımın temel ve ileri düzey özelliklerini anlayabilmek için üçüncü taraf çevirilere veya yapay zekâ sistemlerine bağımlı olmak zorunda kalmamalıyız.
Tam Türkçe kullanıcı arayüzünün kısa vadede sağlanması mümkün değilse bile, güncel ve kapsamlı resmi Türkçe Cubase kullanım kılavuzlarının, yardım kaynaklarının ve eğitim materyallerinin hazırlanması önemli bir ilk adım olacaktır.
Bu talebi ayrıca resmi müşteri geri bildirimi ve yerelleştirme talebi olarak doğrudan Steinberg Support’a da ilettim.
