I’ve long resented it when I need to open the MixConsole’s Left Zone. Mostly because it moves the Faders around on the screen and maybe even causes a scroll bar to appear. Opening it for Visibility is marginally OK because I close it right after. But the MixConsole History is something you leave open for awhile.
When the new MixConsole 4 became available I didn’t have a need for an additional Mixer. But then I realized it could be configured to basically act like a floating MixConsole History Window. Just set the Window Layout like below and resize the Window.

Oops forgot (because the item wasn’t visible on the resized Window) you need to also filter out all the various Channel Types
