Turning off (not bypass) multiple inserts not working

Hey,

I tried finding a topic on this but I couldn’t. In Cubase 15, turning off multiple inserts using Q-Link seems to be broken and it’s a real pita. I used to be able to Option+Shift, then release Shift and click the bypass icon. It would turn off all similar inserts on the same line.

Is there another way to achieve this? I mostly do orchestral film scoring and it’s not uncommon to have hundreds of channels. Clicking them one by one is not an option and as of now, I have to revert to Cubase 14 :man_shrugging:

Have you tried not releasing the shift key? that works as before. With releasing the shift key actually has changed since C14, for whatever reason (never used it like that, so I wouldn’t have even noticed).

Without releasing the shift, it bypasses, like it was already doing in previous versions. I’m looking to unload the inserts (what you usually do with Option only).

If you are in the MixConsole maybe you can click the Q-Link button with the mouse instead of using modifier keys?

Sorry I have no solution, but i also used this in the past and would like this function returned to cubase 15.

Problem is that hitting the alt key while having Q-Link enabled (temporarily) disables Q-Link, but you need the alt key to turn off…

There bites the cat itself in the tail.

I’m also trying to do this, even in the key command editor it doesn’t seem to be listed, or I’d change ALT to something else to stop the -QLink shenanigans…

This looks like one of the many regression bugs in C15… I would suggest adding the “issue” tag to this topic and for everyone being bothered by this, open a ticket with Steinberg and report the issue.
