Two condensing questions

Hi all, I’ve attached a minimal-ish .dorico file dorico-condensing.dorico (443.2 KB) that should hopefully let me ask two quick questions:

  1. Under Notation/Condensing/Inactive Players, the option to “show rests and omit labels” still shows 1. and 2. labels in bar 1. Is this behaviour intended?
  2. In bar 3, there is just one dynamic marking shown in the condensed score since the dynamic markings in both parts are identical and simultaneous. In bar 2, the markings are identical but not simultaneous. Is there an option to waive the simultaneity requirement, or should I put the rest in the 2nd flute part on the rest instead?

Thanks!

  1. I noticed the same behavior recently and regard this as a bug.
  2. Usually in such a case I set the properties to locally and in Engrave Mode I hide the p in the second flute and flip the p of the first flute. This doesn’t affect the parts.

Thanks! Could we save a step (flipping) if we instead hid the p in flute 1?

But then the second G of the first flute is still f, strictly spoken .
