Two lines lyrics for one verse (repeats)

Hi,

I have a song, where the first half is repeated, the second half not. This is very, very common on traditional songs.
So I need to get two lines of lyrics for each verse at the repeated part and only one line at the other.

I find no solution how to do this. If I add an additional line, I always get a new verse number.
If I enter the verse number in the Text, I get a bad alignment.

Any help would be great, since this really is a very common problem.

You can add a lyric translation line, and change the translation font to match the regular lyric font.

Personally, I’d just add lyric lines as needed, hide verse numbers, and add them manually using non-breaking spaces.
