I am working with two screens.
The main one is the lower screen, and I would like the project window to open on it, while plugins open on the upper screen.
Right now, the plugins open on the lower screen and for some reason snap all the way to the right side. Of course, if I manually drag them up in the same project, they stay there, but I was wondering how to set this as the default.
My lower screen is 24 inches, and the upper screen is 34 inches.
no luck with that. the plugins will open pretty much close to the location where your mouse is when you insert them. Some plugins (I think) will remember their positions so after the move they will go back to the last position. I have the mixer on the 2nd monitor and most plugins open above the mixer, but some do go to monitor 1 as I have placed them there before
if I load a plugin from the mixer the plugins are most likely to stay over there.
if I load a plugin on the left of the big monitor it is most likely to open on that monitor
