UAD Apollo Twin X USB and Cubase

Is anyone using this UAD Apollo USB?
Any compatibility issues?

Hi. I’m really satisfied with my Apollo Twin USB. Windows 11 on a HP notebook and no issues as well. Cheers.

Good machines, but I suggest to question if you will really benefit from the ($$) DSP’s and the related locked-in ($$) plugins.
You can find multiple alternatives offering same quality or better for less money, if you won’t use the onboard DSP.

For example?
The UAD preamps are supposed to be unmatched at this price point.
I’d like to hear your suggestions for alternatives

The most widespread mistake is to think in terms of “price point” instead of focusing on feature set (those you really need) and quality.
Sadly, price is more an indicator of good marketing than good quality alone…

Listen for example to this guy who went hands-on and actually tested several interfaces:

I personally owned interfaces and preamps from 7 companies and agree with this guy that the first quality to look for is a low noise floor.
For less than half the price of UAD’s, you will find great options in the Audient lineup, just for example. The Lewitt C6 also looks interesting.
The UAD is a nice option only if you need its built-in DSP for live monitoring with fx on it. Otherwise you’re paying a lot of money for a DSP that locks you in with UAD’s plugins. To me it’s a waste, but in the end, it’s your call.
