I feel this may have been discussed before but I can’t track it down, so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.
It seems to me that the suggested chord diagrams (for the ukulele at least) are rather odd. I am aware that I can edit and save my own preferences but it seems bizarre that when I insert an Em7 chord in the music I am offered 10 options - none of which is the ‘standard’ Em7 that most players start with.
For F there are 12 options, again with the ‘standard’ absent. I could go on.
As I say, not a big thing because I can easily edit the diagrams, but I wonder if I am missing something obvious here.
Thanks for any help/advice.

You’re not missing anything, and there aren’t any specific options you can set to make other ukulele chord shapes appear. We created the library of shapes based on a number of published sources, but perhaps we missed a good source of shapes for ukulele. If you would like to suggest where we would find the shapes that you’re missing, we can certainly look into expanding the default library of chord shapes.
The Ukulele Society of Great Britain have a free and comprehensive chart of chords in all keys including major, minor, dim, aug, 7ths, 9ths etc.
USGB-ChordChart.pdf
Although it is possible to play a chord in more than one position, on the whole these would represent the default chords that most players would start from, though I haven’t checked every single one.

Thanks for that link. We’ll check whether these shapes are included in our default library.
Definite second to incorporating these shapes. I teach a middle-school level music class and have found myself using Dorico a TON for ukulele lead sheets and tablature, and the absence of, for example, the standard “F” chord shape means I have to constantly redefine one of the default shapes in every new project I create.
