In one of my projects created in the newest Nuendo version I’m unable to change the panner mode. The option simply is not there when I right click the panner in both the mixer and arrange windows and in the inspector. It must be a bug? It is quite annoying.
I did use the 2.0 post production template and I’m stuck on the Stereo combined panner.
When I make a new session using a clean 2.0 post production template I am stuck using Stereo Balance panner (my preferred).
I believe you found a bug.
The menu only appears in the channel placed to the left of the mixer window.
At least I can’t see it in all the other channels.
And I checked in Cubase 14.0.32. Only have the Laptop with Cubase around at the moment.
At first I was going to say that I wasn’t having this issue, but I came across it after creating a track which defaulted to my Quadro output bus (which was the last one I had used), then upon switching the bus to my Stereo output, I could no longer change the panner type on that track. I had to reassign the bus back to Quadro, change the panner then switch the bus back to stereo and I got the stereo panner I wanted. No matter where I accessed the track (the strip, the mixer, channel settings), the panner could not be switched as I would expect it to.
I’ve come across this as well and thought it was due to having a stereo track bussing to a stereo group that was then going into another 5.1 group etc. Felt like a bug as well, in N13 it seemed to be there as well. Thanks for mentioning it.
