Unable to edit playing techniques Dorico 5

I want to have the positions for guitar with Roman numeral and solid line. See first screen shot.

The popover for position 4 comes up as pos 323 no matter how I try to edit it. When I try to save position 2 with a roman numeral it comes up as a ‘2’ no matter what I do. See second screen shot. Is this something to do with saving as default? I have tried clicking the star in the edit page, but this doesn’t work. Can you please give a step-by-step instruction?

It should be as simple as…

And setting the Continuation tab to…

Thank you for your reply. It is as simple as that if you have a score open. My concern is that I cannot seem to save the modified playing technique as a default. I have tried hitting ‘OK’ in the bottom right corner. The star for saving as default is filled in and if you unfill it & fill it again nothing happens. It’s also unclear why the ‘Bin’ to the right of the star is greyed out. I don’t want to have to edit the playing techniques for every new score.
I’m wondering if it is something to do with the library on the Macos not being updated: Macos Monterey 12.7.1.

After some trial & error I finally got the edited playing techniques to save as default. Crucial thing is to hit the star to save as default THEN you hit OK to save your changes & close the dialogue. It you leave out the last action it doesn’t work.
