I bought cubase 10 recently and has been unable to install it on my workstation. It keep giving me a string error.

I received my activation code via email for my purchase of Artist 10. Upon putting the 35 alpha numric code into the elicence, i get “Currently, there is no eLicencer connected to your computer which you can download to. Please connect an appropriate USB e-Licence to your computer”.
I purchased Artist 10 via the internet and got my activation code on a confirmation email. Whats this message all about? Can someone help me install this thing. Its been the most frustrating experience Ive ever experienced!
