hello, I cannot uninstall uninstall Sprectralayers 12 trial version after it expired. Dragging it to the trash bin won’t do anything. This trial version prevents me from using the Spectralayers that came with my Cubase pro14. It’s not “active” in the Activation Manager and in the Steinberg Download assistant says not install.
All advices are appreciated.
Use Steinberg’s Cleanup Utility to remove the expired trial. If needed, delete leftover files in Program Files/Steinberg (Windows) or /Applications/Steinberg (Mac) and in your user’s Steinberg preferences folder. Then restart and launch Cubase Pro 14.
oh, so users need yet another helper app to manage their accounts?!? I had no idea.
Where do I find this clean-up utility?
On my local machine I just use Programs and Features/ Uninstall or change panel and that always seems to work for me
