I think there is something odd going on here. If I open your file, go to the Drum part, select Layout Options/Players/Percussion/Single Line Instruments then the spacing appears to be laid out normally. When I then switch back to a 5-Line Staff, the spacing is fixed, but those rests are still hidden. I wouldn’t think that switching the Percussion notation to Single and back to 5-Line would necessarily change anything with this, but it does here anyway.

Delete the explicit bar rest in bar 4 in the drum set staff, and all of the subsequent bar rests will be restored.

Thank you Daniel. I’m not sure how that explicit bar rest got there, now I know what to check for if I ever get the same issue.
