Unhappy about the removed mme driver

Hi all,

I have a real issue with the sudden removal of the mme driver, while I realize maybe compromises have to be made for the inclusion of video support I feel this is one that should be somehow optional. ALL the time I mix down from Cubase 10 into WL and there is a really irritating lag while either programme picks up the driver, from CB TO WL or vice versa. There has to be a way to make this slicker, it’s perfect with WL 9.5 which I’ll have to use in the meantime.

In your case, best would be to use 2 audio cards, one for Cubase, one for WaveLab.
Maybe consider this too:

There would be no problem using directsound driver from windows ?
