I just recently updated from Dorico 5 Elements to Dorico 6 Elements, both on Windows 11. I would like uninstall Dorico 5 Elements (since I know longer need it) without uninstalling any of my sound libraries or projects or anything like that. I just simply want to get rid of the Dorico 5 Elements application since I don’t need it anymore, but I’m not sure on how to do that without accidentally uninstalling everything else. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?
Yes, it’s easy. Go to the Windows Settings and there to the Apps tab.
Click on Installed Apps and find Dorico 5 in the list.
Click on the three dots icon on the right side of it and simply choose uninstall from the pop-up. Confirm the prompt and it will be gone within seconds, but keeping all the sounds and other things.
