i seem to have created a situation in which i have a chord in the bass and single note in the trebble but it is being played back as a broken chord. if i re-enter from scratch, they play at the same time which is what i want. how do i fix the broken (pun intended) chords without re-entering everything?
What instrument, version of Dorico, and computer operating system are you using? We would like to help but do not read minds. Can you post an excerpt of your Dorico file that demonstrates the problem?
… and how are you entering/re-entering your notes? midi record? midi note entry? keyboard note entry?
You could try selecting the affected notes and choosing Play > Reset Playback Overrides.
