My chord symbols on one stave are being replicated in the stave to which I had previous copy-pasted music. I don’t want this replication.
How do I unlink copy-pasted items? Many thanks!
Chord symbols are not copied and pasted, per se; rather they’re activated or de-activated on individual staves. Go to Setup, and on the left hand side in the player/instrument list you can right-click and tell it whether you want chord symbols showing or not. Probably easiest to do this AFTER you’ve finished all your copying and pasting, as (unless you filter out chord symbols before you copy) your preferences in Setup will be overwritten.
Thank you! As my project does not call for individual parts, this worked the way I needed it to. I need to learn better the nuances of filtration lol.
