unloading a VST instrument

Just bought Cubase 8 (from Cubase 3), I’m having a hard time to unloading a VST instrument from the “rack”, which was much easier before.

So I create a midi track assign a VST inst. record something and if I change for another instrument on the same track, that I can do, but if I want to unload the one before unused I cant figure out how. For now I just delete the track. Not good. :unamused:

WOW !! I just found it… I have to select no inst. in the Inspector window instead of in the VST panel as before…

Hi,

You can also do this in the VST Instruments Panel. Click to the instrument name and select “No VST Instrument” here. The result is the same.
