I wonder if anyone else would find it useful to have an unmix by pitch module? Something similar to the unmix level. It would be useful for sound design and could be useful in conjunction with other modules.

Like band-pass equalizers?

Similar to the unlevel module you’d set a cross over point and how many layers or bands (seperation points) you’d want, then it would separate into different layers, and maybe have different algorithms for separating different types of material ( ie. music, post )

I think that would be a fantastic addition to the unmix modules. Clients often want to use premade samples from Splice, Loopmasters, Noiiz etc. because they sound great. But only on their own. When trying to fit them into a song the trouble begins. Unmixing pitches (fundamentals and their overtones like the harmony tools does) and put them into layers opens the possibility to import the layers (which contain each one note of a chord maybe) into a sampler and re-arrange them to fit into the songs. In short: A big +1 from my side for that request.

sure seems to me this is possible to set up manually
just set up your freq selections; save them and you can recall and apply…I must not understand what y’all wanna do
Unmix Levels is something that would be extremely difficult to do manually
