Well as the topic suggests, I’m having this issue with unmix sound effects module. It somehow thinks all of the recording is spot fx. Any ideas?

Obvious questions. What is the recording? What part of the recording are you attempting to unmix as a sound effect?
Recording is just ambience + high heel footsteps. Very transient, I was expecting that to work on this
Sorry, that doesn’t tell us much. What kind of ambience? Please be specific. Presumably you mean you want to separate the footsteps from the rest of the recording?
Somehow it started to work after a restart, kinda bug I guess. Sorry for keeping you busy with this (:
