I was a Cubase 9.5 user and never had issues of any type, since I switched to 10.5 I get crashes and freezes frequently during my projects.
I have a very new PC i9, 32GB of RAM and i run from NVMe + SSD on Windows 10.
The things that Cubase hates the most is switching to a new plugin window, hiding tracks, opening the Insert panel, operations like this not even related to playback or recording.
Knowing this I try and save often (but I lose my work anyway cause it happens all of a sudden).
I use ASIO4ALL and after Cubase freezes and I kill it the driver is still busy from the previous instance so, unless I restart the PC or wait until the Cubase.exe process really cleans up everything, I cannot continue working.
It is better since 10.5 vanilla but not quite right and it is very frustrating.
Is it anything that I can do at least to get up and running again quickly when it freezes and I kill it?
