Are there any good reasons to update to Artist, from Elements, if you use VST pluggin as I do?
My goal is to make music to .wav
I want to be as precise and accurate as possible.
I feel at the moment that I do not know why I should update .
More available midi tracks, more instrument tracks, more vst instrument slots, a few more included VSTi. Your choice to compare here… Assuming you have at least version 7 it will cost anywhere from $50 to $150 to upgrade to the latest and greatest CB 8.5 version. Not bad.

I do not use so many midi tracks or VST slots.
Then I upgrage in the future if I need more channels.

I want, as I said, do not pay for anything if I do not know the score…
The software for the sound engine is the same. So… no, the sound quality is technically the same except for when you use the additional tracks and vst effects/instruments which might allow you to create sound/beats/loops (your music) that “sounds” better.
