Updated 9 with activation code sept 10th 2024 but 11.2 only

Hi I updated my copy of wavelab 9 recently on sept 10th 2024 , thinking I would end up with 12 after all the steps with using the activation code for 9.5 in the elicenser software and then getting upgraded to the newer steinberg licensing, but only was given 11.2. I emailed support and they say I’m not elligible for a free update to 12 and advised me to buy an additional update from 11 to 12. In the past when I updated cubase and skipped a version I would get the current version. Also when I look up the policy I see this:

All Download Access Code redemptions for WaveLab 11.2 made after January 23, 2024 will automatically result in a free WaveLab 12 license.

The support email I got made no explanation as to why I’m not eligible and I’d like to ask them about this again but I"m looking for info or advice here.I saw there was an issue earlier this year where there should be a voucher for 12 in one’s account and it wasn’t always showing up so perhaps that’s what I should have and the person who responded from support isn’t aware of this so If any one could give me any advise I’d appreciate it. If you’re looking in eLicenser Control Center (eLCC), you will only see that your license has been upgraded to WL11 because after that version, (12+) all licensing is through the new Steinberg Licensing system, which is only visible in the Steinberg Activation Manager (“SAM”, a newer application for managing licenses).

In eLCC, does your WaveLAb license now look like this?

If so, open SAM, and you will see something like this:

Thanks for the reply. In Steinberg Activation Manager and in “my products” in download assistant all I have is wavelab 11.2. Support says I’m not elligble for 12 but do not say why Have a good day, Mike
