Hi, I’ve updated my License from Cubase 9 Pro to 14 Pro, but i see only License for 11 (upgraded to 12 it says). Hence, the ‘verification pending’ text in Activation manager does not go away. I think i’m on the grace period. Im unable to shift the license to Cubase 14 from 11. Please help.
You may be looking in your elicenser software. From 12 onward Cubase has moved to Steinberg Licensing, which can be viewed in the Activation Manager.

If you are talking about your USB eLicenser - this one can only handle licenses up to version 11.
Please make sure to follow the instructions below. Upgrading from version 9.5 to 14 means that you are now entering the realm of the new licensing system (which comes with substantial benefits) and that you need to follow these steps:
thanks for your reply. I’ve followed the instructions but the problem still isnt resolved. Here are a few things to note :
- In my eLicenser Control Center, under USB e-licenser I seeCubase Pro 11 under licenses. Under my Soft-elicenser i dont see any licenses.
- In Steinberg download assistant, I still get the ‘Install’ button at Cubase 14. I had downloaded the trial version first, before updating.
- In Steinberg Activation Manager, Cubase 14 Pro still says ‘verification pending’ despite completing the necessary steps. Also a second Cubase 14 appears which says ‘Trial Expired’.
Try opening “E licencer control center” and run “maintenance task”. That helped me some time ago with this problem.
Have you seen the support article about “Verification pending”? It lists several steps to finish the activation
