I love VST Connect and have recorded great tracks remotely for a few years now. Thank you Steinberg developers.
That being said, as all of us are aware, there are still many areas of improvement remaining. My only thinking about the lack of updates is that there is a new program on the horizon. Perhaps one that uses AI? VST Connect/Spectral Layers, etc? Just curious.

With ATMOS now becoming standard in the industry, I would love to see at least basic surround support added (7.1). Source Elements has had 5.1 capability for years now! How are we not leading this charge, especially considering that VST Connect Pro is technically the superior product?
All their stuff is built on the Zoom platform, which is NOT music based. Yet, they can provide 5.1 tracking and source redundancy repair during recording to insure no loss of data. THAT’S mad cool and it was available 5 years ago. I thought for sure we’d have matched them by now.
Source-Elements should NOT be enjoying Avid type “Industry Standard” with us around. 
Yet, any studio, offering remote session services, that I surveyed uses S-E and hasn’t even heard of VST Pro. This should not be!
