Upgrade and grace period question

Hi,
I have Elements 9.5. I think that Steinberg usually do an upgrade sale in the summer. If I was to buy an upgrade from Elements to Artist at that time and wait for Cubase 10 announcement, or whatever it will be called, to activate the upgrade, will I get the grace period deal and have a free update to the new version?

I mainly use Logic so I’m in no hurry to use Cubase but I might be preparing a move to Windows in the long run so that means no more Logic. It’s pretty much a done deal that I’ll be using Cubase once gone to the Dark Side so if I can save a bit now that would be good. Thanks for your time.

Hi,

If the Steinberg policy will continue the same way as it is now, then yes. You will get Cubase 10 license if you activate (for the very first time) any Cubase license (retail/update/upgrade/crossgrade) after Cubase 10 release (or announcement the Grace Period).

Hi Martin,
Great, thanks for the reply. Was not sure if it was applying also to upgrades. Some saving worth to make
