First off, this isn’t the correct upgrade for the license you have in the USB-eLicenser. Since your Cubase Artist 11 is Grace Period eligible, you technically have Cubase Artist 12. You need to perform the grace period check using the Steinberg Activation Manager and purchase the upgrade from Cubase Artist 12 to Cubase Pro 12.
Secondly, the USB-eLicenser dongle must be registered to your MySteinberg account. You cannot use someone else’s dongle to upgrade. You can’t have one person using Cubase 11 with the dongle and another person using the Cubase 12 update. That’s against the Terms of Service.
If you purchased this USB-eLicenser dongle off someone else, then you’re at a extremely high risk of being scammed, since they can activate Steinberg Zero Downtime at any time to claim that it has been stolen. This person must unregister the dongle from their account as explained by the Resale Wizard. This prevents them from being able to do that.
I’ve removed your video since your USB-eLicenser serial number can be clearly seen. Don’t worry, the forum staff can still view it.
i discovered the problem…

The Soft-eLicenser is not relevant to Cubase Artist.
Please use the Steinberg Activation Manager to sign-in to the account that you registered your USB-eLicenser dongle to, then perform the grace period verification for Steinberg Licensing as explained here:
If you did everything correctly, a Cubase Artist 12 license should appear in the Steinberg Activation Manager.
Please contact Steinberg Shop Support for a refund on your Cubase Artist 11 → Pro 12 upgrade. Purchase the Artist 12 → Pro 12 upgrade instead.
i have to say man…A HUGE Thank you dear dear brother you solved it…
my last bump was the error i got when i was running the grace period check so i followed " more information" and followd the steps and i upgraded free Cubase 12 artist fro Cubase 11 artist…
and in add to that i submited a support request in the online shop support , there i explaind the mistake and ask for full refund so i can upgrade Cubase 12 pro from Cubase 12 artist.
now i only wait for their respond and the refund but at liast i can start using 12 full activated…
So again thank you so much for your kind help
