If Steinberg won’t offer a proper upgrade, I suggest they commit to making version 4 a free upgrade (like Reaper) which would have the same net effect. In that case, I at least would buy 3 now. This would also be consistent with how they treated version 1 to 2.
I really think Steinberg need to make a decision here because the more people who buy Cubasis 3 they will boxed and anger that segment as well. I have bought every upgrade for all Steinberg products the day they have been released as possible for decades and won’t buy this as it really is bad customer service.
