When I load a Dorico 5 project in Dorico 6, I loose my note head and it is replace by slash notation?
Are you on Windows? You may need to reboot for the fonts to work properly.
no Mac Séquoia 15.4
Does this happen in every document, or just some?
Every document.
When I Open Recent selection I can click on the zoom button to have a view of the document and in see the note head. When I click to open there a warning that the original version is 5.1.80 and that it will be upgrade to the current version. I click to open and only slash appears.
I’d try a reboot, at least.
Please see Dorico 6 - Noteheads problem
I reported this yesterday, and Daniel is already investigating!

I did reboot computer, problem persist.
When I go to engrave library and select reset to factory it will give me basic notehead but when I change to noteheads design: and select Note Name or Figurenotes color
it will show slash.
I cannot remember just a single occasion when I had to reboot after a Dorico Windows installation…
Hi @mstp146, did you try resetting to factory as reported in Tom’s link?
Yes just did and problem persist
So the issue is another one: start appending the Diagnostics here. ( Help > Create Diagnostic Report)
mstp146 - the fix found will only restore the black/quarter note head missing in the “default” note head set, not the “Notenames” or “FigureNotes” notehead sets.
