Looking at picking up absolute 6 during the current sale. It’s half off of course, but, if you own Cubase pro you get the loyalty voucher for 70%.
I’ve currently got Cubase artist 13 and was looking to upgrade at some point anyway.
It seems to me like instead of absolute 6 by itself, the upgrade to pro ( Around $100 ) + the 70% discount on absolute would be barely much more than just buying absolute 6 outright.
Does it seem like I’m missing something here or am I right in thinking this?
Yes, you’re right. The update from Cubase Artist 13 to Pro 13 (50% discount) + Absolute (70% discount) is more expensive than Absolute with 50% discount. If you only want to get Absolute and keep Cubase Artist for now, the latter is the better choice. If you want to get both, the 70% voucher for Absolute gives you the best deal.
