Upgrade from HS1 to HS2 without HS1 disk

I have a license for Halion Sonic 1 but the disk doesn’t seem to work anymore. I have projects with those sounds and presets and need to get it work ASAP. Can I:

  • do the HS1 to HS2 upgrade without HS1 being installed, and
  • are all the sounds and presets from HS1 usable in HS2? ( have cloned the drive and can copy the presets/sounds into the correct folder )

Please help me finish this windows migration from hell.

Was able to finally get it to install on the third attempt. The only remaining question is how to bring in presets from the previous install. Is it simply a matter of moving them to My Documents\VST3 Presets\Steinberg Media Technologies \Halion Sonic\Multi* ?
