Upgrade from LE 9.5 to Artist 9.5 not working

I own a license for Cubase LE 9.5 and recently bought the upgrade licence for Artist 9.5 called “Upgrade from Cubase LE, AI, Essential or Sequel”. But when I enter the activation code in the eLicenser control center I get the message “Currently, there is no license available that can be upgraded by your upgrade license. Please connect a USB-eLicenser, which holds an appropriate upgradable license, to your computer.”

I’ve got the latest eLC version and I’m also running it as an administrator.

Try moving the Cubase LE 9.5 license to the USB eLicenser first.

I think it is on the USB already. It only shows up in the USB section and the Soft eLicenser section is empty.

It says Steinberg SeL under the license?? (Soft elicenser)

If you’re absolutely sure the LE license is showing on the USB elicenser try running maintenance to make sure all is updated properly.

Otherwise you should be able to drag and drop the license from the right on to the USB elicenser.
