I’m going to install N14 as an upgrade from N13. I know that N14 will use the current settings from N13 during installation. But I’d like to do a “clean” install of N14 (so not copying the current settings), but without having to completely uninstall N13 first.
Is there a way to tell N14 NOT to use the current N13 settings when installing the upgrade?
Temporarily rename your N13 installation folder using underscores or x’s, before running N14 install so it won’t see it.?
Then change back afterwards..
That might work. Have you tried this yourself?
No. But I’ve read this from others..
Hey everyone! I temporarily removed the user folder N13, installed N14, and then restored the folder back to N13. It worked! 
That is good to hear. I will give that a try.
