There looks to be no upgrade from Cubase studio 5 to Cubase artist 6 only to the full version, is this the case?
Apparently so, so as Cubase studio 5 user I would have to buy it at the full price, hmm, not good.
There is an FAQ in this forum that says why. Basically it looks like they are redoing the levels and that particular upgrade path would be a downgrade.
I saw that, the feature set in the comparison chart looks equivalent to Studio 5, I wouldn’t see it as a downgrade, I don’t need all the features of the full product.
I wont mind to “downgrade” from Studio 5 to Artist 6 !!!
Its not userfriendly, that Steinberg doesnt offer this! Shame
