I recently purchased the upgrade to pro from artist. no problems. downloaded everything. still no problems.
yet when i try to activate it, cubase9.5 shows up, but won’t let me activate. I’ve tried registering in the elicenser, but it doesn’t show up there and says there’s no license.
and i’ve read through the FAQ’s on the site, but the problem persists.
The option you should have picked is “Upgrade from Cubase Artist 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8 / 8.5 / 9”
That’s also the name of the license that will show up if you try to activate. Did you pick the right option?
I should have clarified. That is the option i chose. I received the activation code for it and it shows up as upgrade from 6/6.5/7/etc.
normally i’m able to then select the specific program i’m activating. however, in this case, the upgrade shows up, but won’t let me click on it. the elicenser then takes me back to the original screen and says that i don’t have any licenses to upgrade.
i’ve also tried reregistering my dongle, however, that hasn’t helped.
i’m sort of at a loss as to how to trouble shoot it.
Do you have the latest eLicenser Control Center installed?
looks like i haven’t. i’ll have to try that when i get home tonight. it’d be great if it was simply that. thanks!
