My dspmixfx becomes inactive when I run Cubase 7.07 .Why?
Because DSPMixFX is meant to be used in conjunction with all other audio Apps other than Cubase.
The UR interfaces directly into Cubase.
Please don’t be afraid to look at the PDF Manual that came with your UR 44 package. It would have made all of this clear
