UR-44C not working after update macOS 26.3

Dear all, I used the UR-44C properly with beta driver 4.0.4 on my MacBook Pro M3 running macOS Tahoe 26.2. Yesterday I updated to 26.3 and since then it doesn’t work anymore.
The Yamaha Steinberg USB Control Panel is deactivated in security setting and even uninstalling and reinstalling driver 4.0.4b with switched off SIP doesn’t work.

I can’t activate it and the dspMixFx_UR-C doesn’t detect the device.

Of course, I have the TimeMachine backup updated before updating macOS 26.2 to 26.3 but wiping and reinstalling all the stuff still takes time which I would really try to prevent if possible.

Anybody out there who has a workaround or further ideas?

Hi,
I installed the mentioned version 4.0.0 and had the same result but than I realised that the driver version in Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver Panel was still 4.0.4b, so I uninstalled the whole package and re-installed it. Now it shows driver version 3.1.7. (not 4.0.0) but it works.
During install it shows the “Legacy System Extension” warning message but so far it works, probably future versions may not. Thank you!
