UR12 headphone output knob question?

I see the UR12 only has one knob for monitor/headphone out.

Does that mean that when headphones are plugged in, the monitors disable? Does it mean that both monitors/headphones are on the same volume control, and that I’d have to shut off my monitors individually if I want to mute them?

Pretty sure Im going with the UR22 anyways due to the balanced outputs and extra IO’s, but does anyone know the answer to this?

Hello JLIRD808,

The UR12 has a shared volume control for the headphones and the main output.
So, if you’d like to use it just for heaphones level control you need to shut off your monitor speakers, that’s right.
