UR12 Hi-Z input

Good evening,

I’m thinking about buying the UR12 audio interface to record some musics at home… But I have a doubt about the Hi-Z input…

I know that the Hi-Z input is used to plug instruments like electric guitars and basses… And I also know that instruments like keyboards should be plugged on “line-level” inputs…

My doubt is: can I plug my keyboard on this Hi-Z input? Will it work just as fine as an electric acoustic guitar?

PS: I’m a layman in audio interfaces, so sorry if my doubt is kind of silly…

If you plug into the Hi-Z input of the UR12 from a keyboard output that would normally be used with an amplifier you should be ready to rock.

I was wondering if for UR12 the HI-Z channel is also using the Yamaha D-pre module or it`s another one. I want to use both the hi-z and the d-preamp features.
