I have just started using the UR22 with Ableton Live 9.5 and am experiencing an issue when pressing the sequencer stop button. The CPU % shoots up and causes a nasty audible ‘glitch’ over sounds that are playing. This happens with very few tracks running just a few VST plugins. Even when Live is stopped, if I click the stop button the CPU peaks at about 20% when nothing is playing.
It improved after uninstalling the latest driver and installing the older 32 bit windows driver.
My system is old but decent: Windows 7 32 bit, Intel Q6600, Asus P5E-VM mobo, 4Gb RAM etc.
I have tried another interface (EMU 0404) and used the motherboard’s built-in audio with drivers including ASIO4ALL and the problem does not occur.
Does anyone have an idea of why this is happening?
