UR22 Driver keeps failing

UR22 device works fine for a while, then stops working and the white USB LED starts to flash, indicating that the system no longer recognises the USB device. Sounds like a driver issue to me; only thing I can do is restart the system.

Running Win 8; anybody else had similar experiences + workaround?

Possibly you need to change your power scheme, particularly disabling the USB suspend setting.
At least that’s where I would start.

Thanks; I’ll try that, but this happens without the machine going into standby.
