I have a Steinberg UR22 DAW Interface that I used to replace a Tascam FW1884. The UR22 is great and simple to use. I have it tied to a USB2.0 port on my Windows 8.(64Bit) PC running Cubase 7.5. VST Instruments work fine.

When I try to record with it, my guitars work fine. My unidirectional (600Ohm Shure) mics works fine. But my large diaphragm condenser mics do not work. I get NOTHING… why? I thought this unit had built in Pre-Amps. Is that not correct?
The MICs are: 1 Studio Projects C1, and 1 MXL-V67I
