UR28M with external preamp

I’m thinking about getting this and I have Wa12 preamp I really like. Looking at the pictures, I see there are 2 trs inputs on the back of the unit. Can I feed my preamp into one of those?

There are in fact 4 TRS inputs on the back - 2 are combined with XLR connectors. You should be able to use any of these inputs, the two combis however also have a pad switch if the signal is extra hot and spicey.

Thanks, so do the trs 3 & 4 bypass the preamps?

3 & 4 are not preamped.

Is there a way to bypass the preamps on channels 1 and 2?
I already have higher quality external preamps covering all 6 inputs (1-4 + spidf). It sounds OK on 1&2 but I’d really like to avoid double preamping.

Does anyone know?

Turning the gains down to unity should suffice, at least that’s what I do.

Yeah, I turn the gain all the way down AND havethe Pad button pressed (otherwise it’s still too loud).But still would have been nice if there was a bypass option on dspMixFx.
