Hi all.
EDIT :-
FIXED PROB - but leaving here in case others have same with 2.1.7
There a 2.1.8 driver available
(@admin - remove if you prefer)
Original issue was :-.
I restarted using Cubase again. Used from v4 in the past. No have 14
My UR44 connected fine and the AIO driver was “Yamaha Steinberg”
I’ve been beavering away and all software is up to date.
Today, I boot…and ports were unmapped.
COmplete restart resolved thisbut now my only driver option is “Steinberg Built-in ASIO”
Also, I no longer can see mulutiple ports of teh UR44. All is see’s is the output and input phono ports. See image.
Meaning mi Line 1 to 4 ADR/Hi-z inputs aren’t listing so cannot add them to bus.
They were working fine 2 days ago and I cannot track any updates that were applied.
I reinstalled latest drivers for UR44 but all the laptop can see for sound output is —> “8-Steinberg UR44” I’ve no idea what the 8 means.
2 Questions
1 - How do I get Yaaha driver back rather than internal
2 - Will that resolve the rest ?
To be clear - I can PLAY and EDIT sound but cannot record Audio. No Inputs to allocate to BUS.
Any Ideas why Yamaha driver disapeared ?
Yes I am uninstalling Yamaha and starting again
W11, Cubase 14, Yamaha Stenberg USB Driver = 2.1.7
